   Recognised by the wimbledon lawn tennis museum as one of the finest racket makers of the period, it is no surprise to see sparke's name stamped proudly on both sides of the racket's convex wedge. the strings are laid out in sparke's trademark fashion using gut with red verticals and natural horizontals.  

   As ont of the famous custom tennis makers, you might buy racket from him in 1880s but you have to wait 3 month to get it - that was fine craftsmanship tailored to customer needs.
